Cocker and his friends

NB: PULP plays in specific style- some features came from Brit-Pop, some from alternative music. Band`s leader Jarvis Cocker is full of riddles. Some say he is schizo, some say he is drug addicts but both parties can`t but agree that his style is terrific. Cocker is still one of the most stylish stars in show- business. PULP was created back in 1979 but its first album was released in 1983. Strong instrumental, specific manner of singing by Cocker, vocals from apathy to scream... Nobody knew Pulp for many years before they released "Different Class" album in 1995 and of course "This Is Hardcore" in 1998 with its great video on title song. After that PULP became a star. The band released 7 studio albums, the last one called "We Love Life" was released in the end of 2001.

Saffron with two guys...

NB: It is not easy to define musical style of REPUBLICA. According to band`s singer Saffron REPUBLICA plays "Techno Pop Punk Rock" music and we can rely on Saffron here. The band was created in 1996 and was dismissed in 2000. During that period REPUBLICA released only 2 albums but they were very impressive. Guitar rhythmes along with techno and industrial sounds plus piercing vocals by Saffron plus huge energy in REPUBLICA`s music... 2 released albums- Ready To Go (1996) and Speed Ballads (1998).

Typical Bjork

NB: Bjork is a person of experements. It is impossible to define Bjork`s musical style. In the middle of 90s she used techno, ambient and industrial elements in her songs, but by the end of 90s she transformed her style radically. We cannot say these experiments were 100% successfull (I still prefer Bjork`s old style), but they were curious for sure. Her first album under the name of Bjork was released in 1993. Bjork does not sing her songs, she tells them with lots of sreams. In her last albums the absence of musical motive can be seen. She released 5 studio albums. The last one called "Vespertine" was released in 2001.
