He is the most talented actor of the so-called "middle generation". He acted as a producer on "One Flew on the Cuckoo`s Nest", "Flatliners" , "Starman". He worked with David Fincher, Paul Verhoeven, Oliver Stone... Got two Academy Awards (Oscars) - for best film of 1975 (as a producer of "One Flew on the Cuckoo`s Nest") and for best men leading role (for "Wall Street " 1987). Among other awards- Golden Globe for "Wall Street". He got also 5 nominations for Golden Globe (for "War of the Roses", "American President", "Wonder Boys" etc.)

He can play sexual seducer Don Juan in one film and an artificial man with scissors instead of his arms in another, in one story he can play millionere and drug dealer and in another he can play poor Indian; in one movie he can play bold hippy and in another he can play a prison transvestite ... He worked with Tim Burton, Terry Gilliam, Wes Craven, Roman Polanski, Jim Jarmush... His own film "The Brave" (in which he also played the leading role) was nominated for the Golden Palm in Cannes Film Festival. NB: Anthony Perkins was born 4 of April 1932 and died 12 of September 1992 (of AIDS). He was one of the most underrated actors. Outstanding list of roles of unbalanced persons, maniacs and mentally ill people. He got world`s fame after his participation in Alfred Hitchcock`s masterpiece "Psycho" where he played Norman Bates. Perkins was also outstanding theatre actor. He worked with Alfred Hitchcock, Claude Chabroll, Orson Welles, Sidney Lumet, Ken Russell... Perkins was nominated for Oscar for his role in "Friendly Persuasion" (1956). Cannes Film Festival winner for the role in "Goodbye Again" (1961). In 1957 he was awarded with Golden Globe as the Best Young Actor. In 1991 Perkins was awarded with San-Sebastian Film festival award for his achievement in cinema.
